Do I have to be an Irongloves member? (NOT FOR THE OUTDOOR CLASSES) I would probably have to say yes. Reason being, every so often I will incorporate some boxing drills, this is why you need to get some boxing training under your belt before starting SHOCK ZONE.
Do I have to be in shape to take the classes?
You do want to be in somewhat good shape. As long as you work out 3 to 5 times per week, you should be just fine, providing you are also doing cardio 2 times per week.
What if I am overweight?
If a person is more than 40 to 50 lbs. overweight, I would suggest for them to first spend one to two months with an Irongloves trainer before starting SHOCK ZONE.
What should I wear & do I need to bring anything?
For clothing; wear whatever is comfortable, like what you would wear to your fitness gym or what you would wear to go running/jogging in. Shoes; a ‘cross-trainer’ sneaker. You need to bring a TOWEL & bottle of water, please don’t forget towel.
I lifts weights & have always been concerned about losing size if I were to do any form of cardio. Will SHOCK ZONE cause me to lose any of my size or muscle?
Not really, actually you will tighten up & get harder. FYI: Interval type training stimulates muscle growth. I train a few Power Lifters, their size has not been affected, same for their strength, it positively hasn’t decreased at all. The main key is what you do after SHOCK ZONE training -- you need to recover properly!!! Within the hour you would need to take in protein & carbs together.
Do you give a discount on price if I were to purchase more classes?
Yes, there is a discount if you purchase 8 or 12 training sessions. ● 8 sessions/$115 (you save $8). ● 12 sessions/$165 (you save $15). ● 1 to 7 sessions will cost $15 per session.
