ONE-ON-ONE BOXING TRAINING
At Irongloves you are absolutely trained on a One-on-One basis. This means just you and your coach, you will not be sharing your time with anyone. Your coach works directly with you hands-on, instructing you step by step. In other words, you will not be told to go off in the corner and hit the heavy bag for 5 minutes on your own and you will not have others being trained on your time.
We hear from so many that come from other clubs, how they are promised to be trained solo, only to have the trainer group people together. WE DO NOT DO THIS!
FYI: There are four levels formulated by Irongloves. Each level is to certify that you are at a certain stage of your training week by week. Each level is a progression of abilities; from punch combinations, to bag work, and of your cardiovascular. You will learn how to box, just short of stepping in the ring to fight. For those that are interested in competing, you will be trained at different levels.

IRONGLOVES vs. COPYCATS Have you noticed lately, all the copycats in the valley? Irongloves has attracted quite a few that are stealing what we do and passing it off as their own work. Not only do they duplicate every bloody word from my web site, they even copy my boot camp material, as well as Renene’s recipes. How petty can one be, where is their self pride. Personally, I would be very ashamed if my people thought we were crooked.
Some would say “it is a compliment” to be copied after. Personally, I do not believe in taking someone else’s property. Such an act is called ‘internet piracy’. Renene and I have worked very hard building Irongloves, all that is written on my web site comes from years of boxing experience and/or in depth research. Everything that we offer on our site and promise to our people, comes from our heart. If it was me trying to outdo Irongloves, I would come up with my own material, thinking “I will show these people and blow them away”. It would not be so upsetting if they were just simply borrowing a few lines to do well by me, by spreading the boxing word, but, when trainers steal and use fake crendentials to lure the public, that is low down.
These highwaymen have either trained with me or were actual trainers at Irongloves, and are trying to duplicate what only Irongloves can do. They badly want to ride our shirt tails because of our established name, which can only come from honest hard work. A few of these trainers after leaving me have gone on to mysteriously gain more pro fights without competing. To check on the status of a pro fighter, go to www.boxrec.com there you will find every record in the world, even if they only fought one time. We pull no trickery with our people, our web site delivers what is promised. We have members that have been with us for 5 to 12 years, what more can be said than that.
Please do not mistake this article as jealousy, I just do not want people to think that I have stolen or copied anything. As you cyberspace thieves read this, remember Karma is always out there. I will continue to sit back and enjoy watching you crash, because no one can outdo Irongloves integrity. We have been around for sixteen years. GIVE IT YOUR BEST SHOT!
Here is a little secret that not too many know… There is a web site that is like a time machine. You plug in the URL and it will display what is on that web site for each occurring year. We have been in business since 1992, our first site is dated back to 2003, this was the first year of our actual published site. Before that we just had neighborhood type of sites. Be sure to plug in both of our URLs www.ironglovesboxing.com and www.tempeboxing.com Here is the time machine site, Archive.org and input URL where it says WayBackMachine. Once there you will have to figure out how to get to the proper year that will show the site in its entirety, some of the years will only have partial info. Take a look for yourself to see that Irongloves always has been, and always will be everything we say it is.
